Positive: I had the pleasure of staying at Wichouda for 2 nights in January 2026. Fay, Lucas and family have created a beautiful environment, hosting people in their home. They are kind and helpful! Also, they are fluent in Thai, French and English, which is helpful for easy communication. The space is clean, thoughtfully decorated and has everything you need during your stay. You can walk through their gardens, sit and read on the porch, or have breakfast in the pagoda. They have scooters and bikes for rent to visit the nearby attractions. They serve a great breakfast to start the day, and finally there’s the option to have a home cooked meal at home in the evening. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. the room I had in the house has a large balcony with a view of the mountain. Probably the best view you can get!

Summary: I’d highly recommend staying at Wichouda Homestay or Cottage in Chiang Dao!
