Positive: We've stayed in one of the cabins before, so knew that the location was set in peaceful countryside. So nice to be next to the water mill with it's cafe and pretty grounds, plus pleasant walks in the woods by the stream. The cabin was comfortable, spacious and we really liked the large covered balcony facing the woods. We enjoyed the welcoming hospitality at the mill cafe - great cream teas - and had a fun afternoon playing on the crazy golf course. Although the cabins are 'in the middle of nowhere' it is a short drive to Freshwater and Totland for groceries, takeaways and beaches.

Negative: Unfortunately the oven was broken & the kitchen a little lacking in cleaning supplies, but this was sorted out satisfactorily within hours and did not affect our stay. Nothing to do with the cabin, but we were disappointed to find that the ban for dogs on beaches extends until September 30th, so we were unable to get onto the beaches we wanted to visit during our short stay.
