Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Quiet, rural location with gorgeous farm views. Short drive to Hadrians Wall walk, The Sills centre, Vindolanda Roman fort and Haltwhistle, for groceries. Kitchen was well equipped for self-catering. Large, comfortable bedroom upstairs. Toilet upstairs and downstairs. Host were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Negative: Nothing to dislike. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Summary: Perfect base for exploring Hadrians Wall.
