Nestled between the scenic North York Moors and the rugged Yorkshire coastline, lies this pretty detached cottage, Applegarth. Regroup in the conservatory, particularly if the weather's nice, or relax in the sitting room beside the woodburning stove, ideal on those chillier nights. There is also a little snug where you can curl up away from the group and switch off for a moment. Take yourself upstairs to find three wonderful bedrooms, including the master which houses a king-size bed and en-suite shower, followed by another king-size and a double, each of which have been neatly presented with white bed linen and plenty of space for storage. Cloughton is a little village nestled on the outskirts of Scarborough, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Within this pretty village there are two pubs and it is situated close to the 'Cinder Track', a disused 23 mile long railway track which is popular for walking, cycling and horse riding. Other walks includes the Cleveland Way which takes you along Hayburn Wyke, a rocky cove with a waterfall and inn.
