Originally built circa 1820 by John Railston, a local seed and grain merchant, it was created to store the horse drawn coach; it is believed the coachman/gardener and his family once lived in the floor above. Immaculately presented throughout and with much thought, care and attention to detail, Railston Cottage is the perfect choice for the gathering of families and friends or for those couples seeking something rather special.
On the ground floor there is an open plan well equipped kitchen with dining area leading to a lovely snug; this tastefully furnished lounge area boasts two large sofas, and a cosy wood burner to snuggle in front of. Coupled with modern heating system throughout, it ensures a warm welcome awaits guests to Railston Cottage whatever the season. There is a spacious kingsize bedroom with doors leading to the fully enclosed and secluded walled garden and a ’Jack and Jill’ shower room.
