The country houses of Castle Howard, Nunnington Hall, Beningbrough Hall and Ripley Castle are only a short drive away, as is Harrogate and Yorkshire’s ‘Food Capital’, Malton. The coastal resorts of Scarborough and Whitby are also accessible. A fishing lake and golf can also be found nearby. Shop and pub 300 yards, restaurant ½ mile.
