The open kitchen is well-equipped with quality appliances, with an electric oven and induction hob, an integrated microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher. There is a washing machine combo dryer for the convenience for longer stays. Upstairs the cottage has two beautifully appointed double bedrooms complete with luxury bed linen and furnishings. The master bedroom features a king-sized feature canopy bed with views out over the canal and a double bedroom with views out over the woodlands and surrounding hills. The upstairs bathroom has a large walk-in shower cubicle, hand basin, toilet, Heated towel rail and storage cupboards.
Access to the patio garden overlooking the canal is accessed by the front door where you can step outside in the warmer months and soak up the magical views, quality outdoor seating provided. The perfect location for ice-cold G&Ts, or a cold beer while taking in the scenes and watching the everchanging views.
Close to the Cairnbaan Hotel and a short drive to Lochgilphead. Guests have access to nine miles of canal pathways suitable for walking, running and cycling. This historic area includes a magical network of paths, lock gates, towpaths and shoreline to wonder around including the famous Crinan walk taking visitors to the heart of Knapdale forest before reaching a high point at Castle Dounie.
Explore further afield and experience the Mull of Kintyre and Islay and take the passenger ferry from Tayvallich to the island of Jura (summer only) and sail from Oban to Mull and Iona.
