Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: I loved the location- right next to train station. the decor was so nice- even better than I had imagined it would be- like a hunting lodge. The pub was great, the meals were nice. The presentation of the breakfast was top notch. Most of the staff were very nice and helpful.

Negative: I wasn't allowed to take a glass from the bar up to my room. Also, I asked if there was a lost property that I might be able to borrow a jacket from (as I was unprepared for my hike and the weather became inclement) and I was told no, which is fair enough I suppose.

Summary: I highly recommend the Rambler Inn for a hiking get away- it was so enjoyable, I loved every minute.
