Summary: I presented myself to the bar at check-in and was ignored by two members of staff! I was eventually shown to the room by a third staff member. The room was a mismatch of different furniture and styles which was strange. Bathroom served it purpose and was clean but very poor water pressure in shower and hand basin. Bed was extremely comfortable and the buffet continental breakfast,water, tea and coffee was excellent and done really well! Big problems was noise. I selected the room with a garden view which overlooked the garden and then onto fields, however it was a hot day and I was kept awake by noisy people in the pub garden and then woken early by the noise of the pub kitchen extractor fans turning on when the pub opened for breakfast. Overall the noise was not a major problem and I could live with that . I was upset and annoyed by the check-in experience with staff ignoring me and for that reason I felt very uncomfortable and will not return
