2 Bedroom Villa in Sever do Vouga, Silva Escura
Unique place for a forest retreat in a remote and secluded location. Enjoy isolation, privacy and quietude whilst surrounded by nature. Sleep to the sound of our waterfalls and the water stream that crosses the property, and wake up to crickets and birds. During the warmer months it is great out, under the sun or the soothing shadow of one of our 70 species of trees, whereas in the colder months you’ll enjoy being inside looking at the alluring landscape that keeps changing throughout the year.
The accommodation area is 160 square metres, while the whole property is around 2 acres. We have two bedrooms, one with a King-size bed and one with a double bed, a full bathroom with a bathtub for two, a toilet, a very cozy space for reading and relaxing, a dining and living room, and 2 balconies.
All rooms have windows or french windows facing outdoors, including the kitchen and both bathrooms (which are fitted with mirrored glasses). Outside you will find 4 sun loungers, 6 chairs, two tables and two sun umbrellas.
Our kitchen if fitted with sink, dishwasher, refrigerator, top-stove, electrical oven, microwave oven, toaster, Nespresso coffee maker, electrical boiler, blender, and a hand blender (you will also find salt, sugar, oil, olive oil, vinegar, napkins, and kitchen paper — in case you are an espresso lover do not forget to bring Nespresso pods).
The house has two floors: the one above is entirely at the disposal of one group of guests at a time and the lower one is reserved for the hosts. Not all forest area is easily accessible and as such the property is not suited for people with mobility needs or children under 12 years-old. No animals are allowed in the property.

~ Please be aware that from time to time agricultural or forest work related noises may be heard in the vicinity.
The property is 80 km (60 min) by car away from Porto's airport, 45 km (40 min) from Aveiro's railway station, and 20 km (30 min) from Albergaria-a-Velha's bus terminal.
Around the property there are no shops or services, but at Sever do Vouga village (5 km away) — «the home of the blueberry» — you will find bakers, supermarkets, restaurants, and coffee-shops. A bit further you will come across a 11 km-long cycling and jogging trail as well as walking trails, river beaches, monuments and other points of interest such as Cabreia's Waterfall (4 km from 'the nest').
