Positive: Claudio was extremely helpful and a wonderful host . As I had a very early flight , he kindly allowed early access to my room and met me at the accomodation during his lunchbreak at 1.30pm . Exceptional service , a thoughtful host and available to help and support. I found his newly renovated accomodation so welcoming , nice and quiet, very clean with a gorgeous bathroom and kitchen next door to local shops , eateries etc. I usually stay closer to downtown and although location is a little further from the playa , it is still walkable with an added spoilt for choice bus service.Buy a Bono mobolis tam multivaje bus card and top it up with 10 trips for only 5.25 euros. Just tap the card on entry and take bus 8 or 13 from Placa d'America ( a minute from accomodation , to the last stop@ Rambla , then you are only a few minutes from beach , Cathedral San Nicolas and old town. .The No4 bus on Placa d'America will take you to the train station and main shopping district which is also walkable . So this Airbnb is great value for money . Highly recommend and will return.

Negative: Initially felt location was further away from the centre and beach , but once I did the 30minute route walk and got familiar with buses , I grew to appreciate everything about this local area around Placa dAmerica ,where you can enjoy and observe locals gathering and mingling in this busy evening spot. I spent 3 days at Claudio's but would have liked to have stayed longer. I will return . A great find and not too far from centre.

Summary: Lovely Air b&b. Lively outer suburb yet close enough to downtown & playa .
