Racecourse Retreat is our outstanding 5 Bedroom fully detached house, nestled in the perfect spot for any type of stay. Just a short 12 minute stroll from York Racecourse, this amazing property makes the perfect base for York Stays especially if you are visiting one of York's popular race meets. We are also only a 20 minute taxi ride directly into the City Centre, so whilst away from all from all the hustle and bustle but in the ideal location to access all of the City's major access points.
The house itself provides extensive well-planned accommodation over three floors, sleeping up to 9 people comfortably.
The ground floor offers a spacious open plan living and dining area. The Living space itself offers comfortable seating and a large wall mounted, flat screen Smart Tv. Following on into the conservatory area there is a dining table for 8 guests to sit and enjoy either a home cooked meal or a take out purchased from one of York's many restaurants. On the ground floor you will also find a downstairs toilet along side a double bedroom for 2 guests with ample wardrobe space. The modern kitchen has been renovated recently offering all the appliances you will require for any length of stay in York including and electric oven and induction hob, washer/dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster etc.
Heading up the first floor, you will find a further two double bedrooms, one of which offers an ensuite shower room. There is also a main family bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle.
The top floor consists of the final double bedroom and a further single bedroom.
Each of the 5 bedrooms offer hanging space for your belongings and a comfortable sleeping space for each guest, hotel quality bed linen and towels are also provided for your use.
Set back from the road, the house itself offers a large driveway with ample parking for up to 6 cars both in front and behind the house, there is an outdoor area that can be used in the summer months behind the property also.
The house has been decorated and furnished throughout to a very high standard with modern décor and practical amenities for your use, offering remarkable entertaining space in a brilliant location, whether you are visiting the city for a sightseeing weekend with the family, a Race meet, a group celebration or a work trip.
