Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Beautiful old English pub, with sofas in front of a roaring fire. Amazing food in the lounge/dining area that allowed dogs. We stayed the night and were welcomed in the morning with a delicious breakfast. Freshly made English breakfast, toast and yoghurt. The pub is right next door to Montacute House, which is full of history. Ann and Charles made fill very welcome and we look forward to our next visit.
