Set in the heart of Harwood Dale, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors and Coast, Pear Tree is part of a collection of 8 Grade II listed properties sleeping 2 – 42 and comes complete with charming scenery, a hand built cottage garden and private hot tub.
Open the gate and walk through the door and you’ll find yourself in a very cosy property dating back to the 1830’s, complete with bags of original features – as befits a homestay such as this. This is also one of our pet-friendly retreats and we welcome one large or two small dogs (due to the layout of this cottage, no exceptions can be made).
Pear Tree Cottage is just a short drive from the seaside towns of Whitby, Scarborough and Robin Hood’s Bay. So, you’ll be spoilt for choice for where to head to first. Or, if you’d prefer to stay closer to home, why not explore the neighbouring woodland and see if you can spot our resident Barn Owl.
