Positive: Beautiful cottage with lots of character, Hosts made us feel very welcome. The cottage is very close to Grosmont, Sleights, Ruswarp and of course Whitby. Set on the Egton Estate near to the River Esk, nice walk into Grosmont and to the Station Tavern for drinks and a meal, very friendly and food was good too. Also ate at the Witching post, Sunday lunch was very nice and staff very friendly. We went into Whitby, Christmas markets were on with plenty of food and mulled wine. We had a lovely long weekend in the area and really enjoyed our stay.
