Summary: Have you ever checked into a hotel and been made to feel that you were an inconvenience? That you were interrupting someone? That you were being looked down at by someone who thought they were superior? I was fortunate in my work and now in my retirement to have traveled the world for 30 years averaging about 250 nights of travel per year. Never, ever, have I been “greeted” with such rudeness and arrogance. We were demeaned and considered leaving after our miserable experience at check in but resolved to stay and put this rudeness behind us. The next morning I was outside taking some photos and the owners Dobermans starting barking furiously. No problem — until the owner opened the door and one of the dogs came racing toward me only to screech to a halt when I screamed at the dog. The property is very nice but it is not a hotel. It is a ten room bed and breakfast. During our stay we conducted a search of reviews for this property on multiple websites. Unfortunately, we were not surprised to see a lot of bad reviews due to the rudeness and arrogance. Had we read the reviews first, we likely would have stayed somewhere else.
