Andrew and Rachel are delighted to offer you a luxury break in Forman's Lodge, Forman's Green and Forman's View; a 19th century 4 Bedroom Lodge as well as two self-contained, newly built, architecturally designed apartments, all contained within the same grounds on the outskirts of the historic town of Musselburgh, located on the edge of Edinburgh. The properties can be booked individually or as a single unit where they will accommodate up to 22 people, making this site ideal for larger group get-togethers.
The property features stunning views of Musselburgh Golf Links, one of the world's oldest courses dating back to 1567 where Mary Queen of Scots is believed to have played. Along with this, views over Musselburgh's famous horse racing course can also be seen. With an excellent local bus service and Wallyford train station just a 10-minute walk away, this site also offers its guests easy access into Edinburgh city centre.
The space
Bright and sunny throughout, Forman's Lodge, Forman's Green and Forman's View have been fitted out with the highest specification of new furnishings and fixtures. All properties have a large open plan kitchens with high end, Bosch and Miele kitchen appliances. The diner and lounge space all feature smart TVs and there are luxurious comfortable furnishings throughout all the properties, making it ideal for socialising and relaxing. Each property has its own newly landscaped private garden space which includes a hot tub and outdoor dining space. The accommodation has been decorated to a high standard with several beautiful design touches, artefacts and paintings to further enhance your stay.
Throughout all 3 properties there are a total of 10 generously sized and beautifully decorated double bedrooms, four in the main lodge house and three within each apartment. The large master bedrooms in each of the three properties all have king size beds, walk in dressing rooms and their own en-suite shower rooms. The lodge has three additional bedrooms; one twin and two doubles. The apartments four additional bedrooms - come with zip link beds which can either be made up as twin beds or as super kings. All bedrooms have generous closet space. There is a further luxury shower and bathroom located in the hallway of all properties.
There is free Wi-Fi accessible throughout and free parking available on site or in the adjacent street, ideal for accommodating larger group bookings.
