Summary: An absolute gem of a pub and experience from start to finish was the best we had in Scotland for sure.
Property has a lot of history and it was exactly what I had pictured in my mind of a country Scottish inn.
Fynes Ales a short drive away and was also brilliant.
Best dinner we had in Scotland as well and you could tell all the staff care a lot about their inn and the people who visit.

Summary: We have stayed at this property on two previous occasions & returned due to previous positive experiences. This time we were quite disappointed with the quality & cost of our dinner - but the breakfast was lovely.

Summary: Gorgeous location on Loch Fyne with spectacular views. Individual units in detached building have wonderful balcony decks overlooking Loch Fyne. Some electricals need repair/maintenance. Menu is adequate... more carnivore than herbivore. A pleasant stay... large beds in detached building units, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Need a "room guide" to explain functioning of heating, etc. to non-UK residents. Only 20 minutes to Inverary Castle. Evening meal pptions aside from hotel are non-existant.

Summary: Room was at the rear with poor outlook, also could do with updating.
Food was exceptional, as was the service from very friendly staff. Hotel was in a good position by the loch, with good garden area. Apart from this room, an excellent stay.
