The village of Dunster is dominated by the castle on its hill but the focal point of the High Street is the picturesque Yarn Market. For those who enjoy exploring the countryside, Dunster is within the Exmoor National Park and there are plenty of footpaths leading onto the surrounding hills. West Somerset's premier resort of Minehead is less than three miles away and has sandy beaches, seaside attractions for the visitor, and plenty of cafes, shops and bistros.
