There’s also a utility space near the back door with washing machine and dryer which is helpful for getting the family more presentable for that pub dinner.
Talking of pubs, the local pub is a stone’s throw from the back garden gate. You’ll have no difficulty (or hazards!) getting home, even after a couple of well-earned drinks. Locally you’re spoilt for choice. Petersfield, only a short drive away, has shops, restaurants for all tastes, the South Downs National Park has all the outdoor pursuits you could want. For those looking for the sea, the stunning beaches of the Witterings are only a 30-minute drive away.

Parking is available outside the cottage, but Village Street is very narrow. We recommend parking by the village green opposite the Queens Head after unloading your car. There is more room for cars to pass and it’s only 100 yards from the front door. Dogs only are welcome, no other pets.
